About Sandra

Sandra Jauregui has been fighting for Nevadans her entire career. During the Great Recession, she worked in Nevada’s Home Again program to help Nevadans stay in their homes. When she was elected to the state legislature, she went to bat for working families - tackling affordable housing, capping the cost of insulin and lowering healthcare costs, creating good-paying jobs, and safeguarding wages and benefits for state employees during the pandemic. A survivor of the 1 October shooting, Sandra turned personal tragedy into action, championing commonsense gun violence prevention laws that protect Nevadans across the state. Unafraid to stand up to the powerful, Sandra has taken on some of the toughest fights and won, delivering real results for working families. Now, Sandra is running to bring that same bold leadership and proven track record to the Lieutenant Governor’s office.
